The GCKI 2015 Race Schedule has been updated with the Texas Mini Grand Prix dates. Please note that the track will be closed to karts on the following dates when the Texas Mini Grand Prix will be using the track.
Here are the updated points as of GCKI Spring 1 kart race by Consolidated Communications and Motorsports Development Group. Thanks to all the kart racers and spectators that attended! Please look over the points and let Pier Alvarado know if you have any questions so the series champions can be officially confirmed.
The next kart race will be the GCKI Winter Blast, non-points fundraiser, fun on January 4th. The public is invited, bring your friends, family and neighbors and join us for some exciting, close, open-wheel kart racing. Spectator passes are only $5 each which allows access to the shaded spectator bleachers and also the pit areas so you can visit with the kart racers and get a close look at their Italian racing go karts!
Spectators are welcome. There is a $5 fee for anyone over 5 years of age, and a wristband must be obtained in the club house.
*Practice time at race directors discretion.
And in other news
Gulf Coast Karters welcomes and encourages members and non-members to volunteer to help run our kart racing events. You don't have to race to be involved in kart racing at Gulf Coast Karters. You can be a Corner Worker, Grid Marshall or work the Concessions Stand on race day and get paid for your service to GCKI. You don't have to be a member to serve as a race worker. Come and join in the action! Sign up to work in the Worker Forum Thread.
