Although we list facility hours as 24/7 for the track availability, we have no lights for night driving. Also the noise ordinance changes between night and day, making it impractical to run at night. We ask to respect the neighbors and not start track time before 8:30 am if possible.
You may take guests with you, but if they drive your kart please have them sign a release.
Anyone driving their own kart will need their own GCKI membership. If you go to the track before your membership card comes in the mail please print the membership confirmation email & take it with you in case someone asks to see your card.
All drivers must adhere to GCKI Safety Standards while on location and on track:
- Full race gear(suits, helmet, gloves, neck brace)
- Practice in the direction posted (for the next race)
- Share practice time with other classes
- No major mixed classes
- Kid karts always run by themselves
- Motorcycles always run by themselves, never with karts.
- Full Size Karts and Cadet karts may run together.
- Airboxes are required on all shifter karts to keep the noise level reasonable.
- No pitting, fueling, or personal / team vehicles under canopy.
- No kart stands on the track (for recovery) while there are karts out on the track.
- No fueling under the pit canopy. Fuel spills destroy our surface.
